Kiangazi House is a 7 bedroom colonial house situated on our wildlife corridor overlooking the picturesque Lake Oloidien
Built as a sprawling colonial farmhouse with endless green lawns, and a swimming pool with amazing views over the lake, Kiangazi is a luxury home away from home. Located in the main house are two beautifully decorated double en suite bedrooms and one twin en suite bedroom. There are a further 4 luxurious en suite bedrooms detached from the main house all set within the lush garden. The rooms hold views of the wildlife waterhole, exotic garden and the lake beyond.
A converted home, Kiangazi has a large lounge with a fireplace, dining room, cosy bar also boasting a fireplace and a library/T.V room. Taking time out to relax by the pool, explore the gardens or sipping a glass of wine while watching buffalo herds drink at the waterhole are just some of Kiangazi’s many pleasures.
Our head chef prepares unique and delicious cuisine and uses only the freshest ingredients straight from our farm and dairy. Appetizing lunches are served on the veranda but often taken outside on the deck overlooking the wildlife waterhole. Three course lunches and dinners are prepared using a variety of fresh local ingredients and given notice, special dietary requirements can be easily catered for.
Kiangazi House being only one and a half hour drive from Nairobi or only 15 minutes away by air is the ideal place to start, end or rest in the middle of a safari.
In our continuing quest for sustainable conservation and sensible environmental management all electricity used at Kiangazi House comes from the geothermal power station at Oserian Flower Farm Ltd.
